DPD Pickup Offices, Building 4, Media Way (Off Forge Lane), Etruria Village, Stoke on Trent, ST1 5SY

Contract

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Salary

Working Days

Monday to Friday (weekends on a rota basis)

Working Hours

Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm, Saturday 9am‑1pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a “right first time” resolution for customers, exceeding expectations and keeping promises.
  • Investigate and fully resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Take appropriate security measures to prevent fraud.
  • Take inbound calls and make outbound calls to the Pickup Shop network and DPD Depots.
  • Assist with queries and escalations from the Pickup Shop network.
  • Maintain a high level of service and responsiveness at all times.
  • Perform any other tasks required to assist with the smooth running of the service.

Qualifications

  • Evidence of administrative and customer service experience within a busy environment.
  • Clear and confident communication skills; ability to simplify complex situations.
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills.
  • High self‑motivation and initiative to resolve problems.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and administration skills.
  • Willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ and delight customers with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a pressurised environment.
