PLEASE NOTE: This role will predominantly require you to drive a 7.5t Vehicle but may require sporadic requirement to drive a Class 2 vehicle within the depot.

Job Description

The Role

You’ll be more than just a driver; you’re the heartbeat of our local operation.

The Route: Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area successfully achieving time sensitive deliveries and predetermined collection schedules.

The Standards: Maintain high professionalism while meeting time-critical deadlines adhering to all relevant road traffic laws and company policies.

The Tech: Use our handheld Saturn devices and route planning software to keep things moving smoothly.

The Vehicle: Take pride in your 18T vehicle, ensuring it’s safe, roadworthy, and presentable.

The Team: Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure every parcel reaches its home.

Qualifications

What You Bring

The Essentials: A valid Category C (Class 2) licence, DQC/CPC accreditation, and a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.

Experience: At least 6 months recent experience handling Class 2 or equivalent vehicles.

The Mindset: A "can-do" flexible attitude and a focus on the customer experience.

The Skillset: Strong geographical knowledge of the location and the surrounding areas.

The Stamina: You’re physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and thrive under pressure.
