Job Description

Contract Type: Permanent – 35 or 25 Hours Per Week

Days of Work: 25 Hour Contract – Tuesday to Saturday OR 35 Hour Contract – Sunday to Thursday

Hours of Work: 25 Hour Contract – 03:30 - 08:30 OR 35 Hour Contract – 03:30 - 10:00

This is a fast‑paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

  • Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
  • Handling items up to 25kg
  • Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
  • Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
  • Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
  • Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
  • Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
