Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Class 1 Shunter Driver to take ownership of our night time yard operations. In this role, you serve as the primary conductor of our logistical flow, ensuring that every movement is executed with precision to maintain the integrity of our high‑speed supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Maneuvering: Safe and efficient navigation of trailers and tug units throughout the yard, requiring exceptional spatial awareness and the ability to execute complex manoeuvres in a fast‑paced environment with zero margin for error.
- Systems & Compliance: Use internal management systems to log all trailer transitions. Champion our “Safety First” culture by conducting rigorous pre‑use vehicle inspections and ensuring all yard protocols meet Tier 1 compliance standards.
