We are actively recruiting for an ambitious and motivated Territory Sales Executive to join and strengthen our team of skilled sales people. The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve the company’s revenue target for new business in line with the company’s strategy for customer size, type and service mix. Cold calling and door‑knocking are essential parts of this role to attract and develop new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop a personal prospect funnel sufficient in size to fund both DPD & DPD Local new business targets as laid down in the company’s strategic plan.
- Monitor performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile and deliver action plans if variances occur.
- Successfully hand over all new accounts to either the Customer Care Team or relevant CRM Account Manager by the end of the first eight weeks of trade.
- Identify and pursue regular trading opportunities on a daily and weekly basis.
- Champion the partnership process where possible with any new prospects.
- Achieve productivity targets, including 12 brand new prospect visits each week.
- Achieve all portfolio product targets as laid down by the company.
- Obtain all the correct documentation required to process a credit facility to ISO standard.

- Demonstrated success within a sales or similar environment and a tenacious attitude to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Outstanding communication, persuasion and influencing skills.
- Ability to focus on customers, fully understand their needs and gain their commitment.
- High integrity and empathy.
- Effective time‑management skills to meet targets and deadlines.
- Adaptability to suit the needs of internal and external customers.
- Problem resolution and objection‑handling skills.
