Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Depot Operations Administrator. In this role you will work closely with the Depot Quality Manager and Site Manager where you will be accountable for the administration to both; Transport and Operational areas of the depot.
Key accountabilities will include;
- Monitoring & reconciling automated payments for our “self employed” drivers
- Administering stocks of uniforms and stationery
- Carrying out Driver Licence and Forklift Truck certificate checks
- Administering fuel stocks and orders
- Carrying out local operational quality audits and maintaining operational reports
- Maintaining vehicle records, keys, service schedule and defect/repairs register
What we’re looking for
To be considered for this position you will have proven and demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced administrative role. Experience within transport/logistics industries would be advantageous but not essential.
- You will have strong analytical skills with an awareness of quality assurance and auditing.
- You will have strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner and a willingness to go the ‘extra mile’
- Excellent administration skills with the ability to use G Suite / Microsoft Office programmes
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, self-motivation and organisation.
