Job Description
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service when collecting or delivering parcels.
- Load parcels onto your 3.5 tonne van efficiently at the depot at the start of your shift.
- Follow a daily delivery schedule and manage routes to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
- Operate and maintain the van safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Accurately scan and record parcel information using handheld devices.
- Collect signatures and other necessary proof of delivery from customers.
- Report any delivery issues, vehicle problems, or customer concerns promptly to your supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organised van, conduct daily checks, and report maintenance needs.
- Adapt delivery approach to changing weather conditions.
- Collaborate with depot staff and other drivers for smooth operations and efficient parcel sorting.
- Wear the provided uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on duty.

Qualifications
Required:
- Full UK driving licence and at least 12 months of regular driving experience.
