  • Shift Pattern: 4 from 7 to be discussed at interview

Job Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service when collecting or delivering parcels.
  • Load parcels onto your 3.5 tonne van efficiently at the depot at the start of your shift.
  • Follow a daily delivery schedule and manage routes to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
  • Operate and maintain the van safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Accurately scan and record parcel information using handheld devices.
  • Collect signatures and other necessary proof of delivery from customers.
  • Report any delivery issues, vehicle problems, or customer concerns promptly to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organised van, conduct daily checks, and report maintenance needs.
  • Adapt delivery approach to changing weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with depot staff and other drivers for smooth operations and efficient parcel sorting.
  • Wear the provided uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on duty.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Full UK driving licence and at least 12 months of regular driving experience.
