DPD is a Valuable 500 company and a Disability Confident Employer. Our International Finance Manager is looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their high performing team. To support the International Finance Manager with the accounting, analysis and administration of DPD UK International services. Key stakeholders include the IOD, inter-co representatives from across Geopost and Finance team members.

Key Tasks Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of management information including weekly and monthly accounts for International.
  • Liaise with the International Operations Administration team to ensure that costs are recorded on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Complete all balance sheet reconciliations in order with the company policy.
  • Monthly reconciliations of import duty / VAT control account.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the International costs structure on the Company's management information systems.
  • To assist with the production of weekly performance reports for International Operations Department managers to aid decision making.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of presentational information as requested by the International Finance Managers.
  • Reconciliation of Intercompany balances with group partners.
  • Any other tasks that might be reasonably requested.

Qualifications

As the successful candidate you will be able to evidence that you have finished university with a minimum 2:1 classification in any degree discipline. Additionally you must be willing to study either ACCA or CIMA qualification (ACA is not offered).
