The TMO Analyst supports the effective and efficient delivery of the change portfolio by implementing, maintaining, and continually improving Programme and Transformation Management Office (TMO) standards, processes, and reporting across the organisation. This role ensures projects adhere to governance frameworks, focusing on data collection, validation and dashboard maintenance to support the Transformation Office Manager with strategic interpretation and exec briefing.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility- Reporting & MI: Develop and maintain the central project portfolio dashboard, tracking project status, progress against milestones, resource utilisation, and financial performance.
- Governance: Ensure strict adherence to established project governance standards, methodologies, and life cycles across all programs and projects within the portfolio.
- Risk & Issue Management: Facilitate and manage the central logs for risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, ensuring they are regularly reviewed, updated, and escalated where appropriate.
- Process Management: Manage and control key PMO processes, including the project change control process, gate reviews, and documentation repositories.
- Meeting Support: Coordinate and facilitate key project and portfolio review meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and tracking action items to completion.
- Financial Tracking: Support Project Managers in tracking project expenditures against budget, forecasting future spend, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the PMO function, processes, and tooling.
- Guidance & Training: Act as a central point of contact, providing guidance, coaching, and training on PMO processes and best practices to project teams and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with Programme and Project Managers, senior leaders, and various departments to ensure effective portfolio communication.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
