Job Description Purpose of Position Are you a creative and enthusiastic design student looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced Marketing environment? DPD is seeking a talented Marketing Design Placement student to join our in-house Marketing team for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide-range of marketing campaigns, develop your skills and see your work come to life across various channels. Youβll be an integral part of our team, supporting us in creating visually compelling content that aligns with our brand identity and helps us connect with our customers and consumers. Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility Key responsibilities of this role include: β Assist in the creation of a variety of marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, email templates, website banners, print collateral and presentations β Work closely with the Marketing team to translate campaign objectives into impactful visual designs β Contribute to the refinement of existing design assets and the creation of new ones β Support the design and development of engaging content for our digital channels, ensuring brand consistency β Assist with image editing, retouching and optimisation β Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design best practices Qualifications Qualifications/Experience β Demonstrable experience with at least one of Adobe Photoshop, XD or InDesign β A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative potential (academic or personal projects are welcome) β Basic understanding of marketing principles and how design contributes to marketing success β Proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn and take on new challenges β Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a dynamic environment β Basic understanding of web design principles (HTML/CSS) is a plu Please submit your CV along with a link to your online portfolio showcasing your work.
