Purpose of Position

This role will be based from our offices in Hinckley. Working within DPD International Operations, you will work directly with senior managers, providing analytical findings, proposing solutions and making recommendations to support the Road Service Team. You will conduct trend analysis of Road Service and Operations to identify the cause of service failures, in order to improve operational compliance and customer retention.

Key Task & Responsibilities

  • Proactive resolution to service performance issues using cause analysis reports and liaison with other departments to complete actions that will improve DPD Classic service.
  • Ensuring that all operational procedures are implemented and adhered to in line with the development of the International products.
  • Conduct trend analysis on receipt of any escalations relating to DPD Classic service quality and non-compliance and submit a report of actions for resolution.
  • Communicate any changes to DPD Classic operational procedures or updates that could affect the DPD Group customer’s deliveries.
  • Assist, when requested and deemed necessary, with presentations to International clients, SMT and internal departments and attend any meetings when required to provide international knowledge.
  • Undertake specific projects, working groups or other duties as required by the International management team in order to develop or enhance the international service offering.
  • Provide recommendations for customer experience improvements on the DPD Classic service to the International Road Service Delivery Manager, International Road Service Team Leader and DPD Group stakeholders.
  • Regularly liaise with the Road Service Team and DPD Group stakeholders to review and identify the current operational trends that can help drive change and enable us to achieve Road Service KPI’s.

To succeed in this role you will be passionate about data analysis and have extensive experience using Excel. A background in logistics and experience with SQL would be advantageous. We will also expect:
