Warehouse Operative - Nights DPD Group UK Romsey, England, United Kingdom
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until January 15th 2027 – 40 Hours Per Week
- Days of Work: 5 days per week starting at 00:00
This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.
Key Duties Include:
- Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
- Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
- Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
- Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
- Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
- Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
