We are actively recruiting for an ambitious and motivated Territory Sales Executive to join and strengthen our team of skilled sales people. As a Territory Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to achieve the companyâs revenue target for new business in line with the companyâs strategy for customer size, type, and service mix. Cold calling and âdoor knockingâ is an essential part of this role to attract and develop new business.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Identifying and developing a âpersonal prospect funnelâ sufficient in size to fund both DPD & DPD Local new business targets as laid down in the companyâs strategic plan.
- Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile. Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur.
- Successfully handover all new accounts to either the Customer Care Team or relevant CRM Account Manager by the end of the first eight weeks of trade.
- Identifying and pursuing regular trading opportunities on a daily and weekly basis.
- To champion the âpartnership processâ wherever possible with any new prospects.
- Achieving productivity targets, including 12 brand new prospect visits each week.
- Achieving all portfolio product targets as laid down by the company.
- Obtaining all the correct documentation required to process a credit facility to ISO standard.
About You
Your career history will clearly evidence success within a sales or similar environment and a tenacious attitude and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. Your outstanding communication, persuading, and influencing skills will be fully utilised in this role, as will your ability to focus on your customers to fully understand their needs and gain their commitment. Weâll also expect you to have:
