Job Description
We are now looking for an experienced Regional Fleet Engineer to strengthen our highly skilled and high-performing Fleet Services Team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles that are being used are safe and legally compliant. You will also be upskilling depot staff in the safe use of equipment and ensuring that they are aware of the company defect and booking procedures.
You’ll also be focused on:
- Looking at supplier performance, monitoring associated services, and cost as well as auditing the quality of work.
- Carrying out weight checks, fleet checks, and site inspections.
- Identifying key areas and causes of vehicle damage and working with the Depot Management Team to devise strategies to reduce damage sustained.
- Ensuring all suppliers of vehicle-related goods and services meet company requirements, in terms of cost and legal compliance (including health and safety considerations).
