Contract Type: Permanent Full Time 40 Hours Per Week

Salary: £11.44ph - overtime paid at enhanced rates

Location: DPD Aberdeen - Badentoy Drive, Badentoy Ind Estate (North), Portlethen, Aberdeen, AB12 4ZD

Days of Work: Monday - Friday

Hours of Work: 06:30am - 15:00pm

As our Pre Brief Operative your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of Google Documents and keeping them updated with accurate and timely information
  • Signing our hand held devices called Saturns in and out to drivers, ensuring all Saturns are accounted for and properly maintained
  • Reporting and logging damaged Saturns so these can be fixed without delay, maintaining a detailed record of all device issues
  • Keeping the depot internal system called "Universe" up to date, ensuring all data entries are accurate and consistent
  • Dealing face to face with customers who have come to the Depot to collect their parcels, providing a professional and courteous service
  • Taking responsibility to resolve any customer queries satisfactorily, escalating complex issues when necessary
  • Supporting colleagues on the warehouse floor with various duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
  • Participating in daily team briefings and contributing to process improvement discussions
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the depot environment
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area, promoting a professional image of the depot
