Days of Work: 5 out of 7 - including weekends

Purpose of Position

As a LGV Coordinator you will be part of the Traffic office team and are responsible for management of the Transport drivers inline with legal, legislative and operational requirements.

Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

  • Completion of license checks for employed and agency drivers
  • To be point of contact and deal directly with both employed drivers and agency Drivers regarding any compliance issues
  • To coach drivers in relation to any failures
  • Completing infringements with drivers and ensuring all supporting data is present, and captured in a real time manner
  • Liaising with agencies in regards to agency driver compliance failures
  • Completing random Gate Checks and dealing appropriately with any issues that may arise
  • Completing Accident forms with drivers and responding to any queries in relation to accidents
  • Completing Near Miss reports when required
  • Completing Yards checks
  • Raising defects
  • Completing the Last Download report
  • Vehicle Downloads
  • Being accountable for Agency Driver Inductions
  • Completing Alcohol and eyesight tests for Drivers when required
  • Dealing with and addressing appropriately Microlise functionality issues
  • Assisting with Compliance investigations for disciplinaries and grievances
  • Any ad hoc Transport administrative duties
  • Assisting the Transport Shift Managers and Operations Managers with any further administration duties

Qualifications

  • Intermediate Google Workspace knowledge: GMail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
  • Knowledge of Microlise and C3 Yard management systems desired
  • Holds a Class 1 License
  • Holds a Driver’s CPC
  • Management of CPC would be preferred however it will be trained.
