Purpose of Position
This role is responsible for effectively arranging scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for the DPD Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) fleet. The primary focus will be liaising with individual owner driver franchisee’s (ODF) to confirm and book the maintenance activities to minimise network disruption. The successful candidate will analyse data to maximise utilisation and coordinate planned maintenance across the UK. Liaison with maintenance suppliers will be essential to ensure efficient repairs are conducted, and all relevant cost data will be meticulously recorded on our internal systems.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility
- Arrange all scheduled and unscheduled vehicle activities as required.
- Establish strong communication between ODF, depots and repairers.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out in timely manner at the aligned repairer.
- Review repair network utilisation ensuring the days VOR is kept to a minimum.
- Maintain repairer and dealer network relationships.
- Maintain open lines of communication between area partnership managers and depot management.
- Ensure that all vehicle service documents received meet legislative requirements.
- Process and ensure prompt payment of invoices.
- Run daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports to include service reports, MOT and performance reports.
- Update and maintain internal records.
- Provide general administrative support for the Road Transport Collision team (when required).
- Provide general administrative support for the Maintenance Control team (when required).
- Any other reasonable management request.
Qualifications
You will evidence strong organisational skills, and have the ability to analyse data. We will also expect you to:
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Be a proficient IT user with experience of the Microsoft package or Google Suite.
- Have a “Can Do” attitude to work and your duties.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, self-motivation and organisation.
