Contract: Permanent 40 Hours Per Week minimum Hourly Rate: £17.72ph night rate between 18:00 to 06:00 plus £19.86 subsistence allowance per day plus £8.81 food allowance per day. As a Class 1 Relief / Tramper driver, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of executing bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers throughout the United Kingdom. Your role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our logistics network. As this is a Relief / Tramping role you will be required to sleep in your lorry 4 nights a week at a secure DPD Location. Operating state-of-the-art heavy goods vehicles to transport palette loads to HGV-compatible locations. Adhering strictly to predetermined shift patterns to ensure timely and consistent service delivery. Demonstrating a high level of commitment by undertaking a minimum of four nights per week away from base, utilising secure company locations for overnight stays. Efficiently managing and being accountable for a designated regional territory surrounding your assigned base depot. Ensuring compliance with all relevant road safety regulations and company policies. Accurately completing all necessary documentation and digital records associated with deliveries and collections. This role demands a high degree of responsibility, self-motivation, and dedication to maintaining DPD\’s reputation for exceptional service in the logistics industry.
