Job Description As a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. Your role is important in upholding our reputation for excellence and reliability. Providing outstanding service during both collection and delivery processes, is equally as vital as adhering to strict time schedules. Key responsibilities include: Commence your shift at the depot, assisting with the loading of parcels. Execute a daily delivery and collection schedule, typically encompassing 40-60 stops within the designated area. Utilise the provided sack barrow/hand truck for the transportation of heavier items, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers. Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies. Efficiently manage your time to ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the specified timeframes. Accurately document all transactions and maintain thorough records of your daily activities. Report any issues or discrepancies promptly to the relevant supervisors. Continuously strive to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
