Accounts Semi Senior We’re looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join the team at DPC, part of the Sumer Group. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious practice accountant who is looking to build on their experience, take on more responsibility and continue developing their career within a supportive and growing accountancy practice. Key Responsibilities As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you’ll work closely with a varied portfolio of clients, supporting with the preparation of accounts and providing a high-quality service across a range of assignments. Your responsibilities will include: * Preparing accounts for a range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. * Preparing VAT returns and other compliance work. * Assisting with tax computations and returns. * Managing your own portfolio of clients with support from senior team members. * Communicating directly with clients and building strong working relationships. * Supporting more junior members of the team and sharing your knowledge. * Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver an excellent client experience. * Working closely with Managers and Seniors to ensure work is completed accurately and on time. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise We’re looking for someone who is: * Experienced in an accountancy practice environment. * Part-qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, AAT or an equivalent qualification. * Confident preparing accounts and dealing with a variety of client work. * Comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues. * Organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities. * Keen to continue learning and developing their technical knowledge. * A team player who takes pride in delivering great work.
