We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong CTA‑qualified Tax Advisor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with our Tax Director on a wide range of advisory projects, supporting the delivery of high‑quality client work across private client and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Tax Director with preparation and delivery of high‑quality tax advice, taking a holistic client‑focused approach.
  • Prepare clear, well‑structured, and technically accurate written advice reports.
  • Act as the trusted right‑hand to the Tax Director in managing workflow and driving projects forward, delivering best‑in‑class quality advice.
  • Assist with private client and corporate matters affecting OMBs, including tax planning, restructuring, and other advisory projects.
  • Leverage experience in private client tax planning such as IHT, Capital Gains Tax, and income‑extraction planning.
  • Contribute to corporate tax planning, drafting clearances, advising on share schemes, remuneration planning, restructuring, ERS reporting, and ATED where relevant.
  • Conduct technical research and apply findings to client scenarios; act as a point of contact for departments with technical tax questions.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather information and ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of internal technical knowledge and best practice for the team.
  • Assist with complex compliance work, disclosure work, and HMRC enquiries during busy periods.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • CTA Qualified (essential) with post‑qualification advisory experience.
  • Proven experience writing high‑standard tax advisory reports.
  • Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and ability to articulate complex concepts verbally and in writing.
  • Solid technical knowledge with strong attention to detail.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive, can‑do attitude with a hands‑on approach to detailed advisory work.
