What you’ll be doing:
- You'll work closely with a variety of owner‑managed businesses, overseeing audits from planning through to completion.
- You'll lead on‑site audit teams, ensure compliance with professional standards, and support process improvements.
- Taking ownership of audits from planning to completion across a diverse client portfolio, ranging from small and large companies to partnerships and sole traders.
- Leading audit fieldwork on‑site, identifying risk areas, and ensuring objectives are met.
- Attending and contributing to client meetings at all stages of the audit process, keeping the audit manager and RI informed as required.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members, building both their technical expertise and soft skills.
- Driving improvements in audit processes to boost efficiency and enhance client experience.
What should you have:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong experience in leading audits, with the ability to make decisions and escalate appropriately.
- In‑depth knowledge of audit regulations, quality standards, and risk management.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on building long‑term partnerships.
- Proven leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
