The Team Leader will oversee business operations, delegating tasks to team members and resolving problems that occur on their shift. Their duties also include stock inventory & coordinating employee responsibilities to improve efficiency & customer service.Please note: Due to volumes, and interview availability we will be screening applications week commencing 16th June.How you will contributeCoach all Team Members daily in processes and procedures.Maintain and monitor safe working practices and adhere to the safe working methods and countermeasures implemented.Maintain standard work and quality processes to ensure a \’right first time\’ product to the customer.Drive a zero-tolerance mind-set for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.Understand throughput rate to support customer requirements.Operate visual delivery tracking systems in order that commodity status can be seen at a glance.Reporting of all throughput, improvement and people requirements within given time parameters.Support the Health and Safety team in investigations.Ensure all MHE Drivers comply with Health and Safety regulations.Other duties as assigned.What you will bringExperience in leading a large team.Self-motivated.Good IT knowledge- Excel, Word etc.Job experience in a Tier 1 operation is beneficial (JIT, Sequencing, Packing, Delivery).Able to work in a diverse group of people and be a team player.CompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
