Vice President – Contract Logistics – North Europe

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President – Contract Logistics, to lead DP World’s Contract Logistics operations across North Europe. This high-impact role oversees a dynamic, multi-sector portfolio—including acquired businesses and ambitious new growth through M&A and strategic expansion plans.

You will be responsible for operational excellence, strategic alignment, customer satisfaction, and business growth across multiple sites and teams. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with sharp commercial instincts, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering results through innovation and influence.

NOTE: a hybrid opportunity with a requirement for regular travel which can be based anywhere in the UK.

How You Will Contribute

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the most senior leader for Contract Logistics in North Europe.
  • Direct a diverse portfolio of operations and act as the escalation point for critical issues.
  • Build high-level relationships with government bodies, educational institutions, and business leaders.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure high-performing, safe, and continuously improving logistics operations.
  • Oversee new site setups and customer integrations.
  • Align policies and processes with regional and global standards.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage strategic relationships across a portfolio of major technology, automotive, and chemical clients, while actively influencing and driving growth in emerging and incoming verticals.
  • Consistently exceed customer expectations, delivering exceptional service and strong commercial returns for DP World.

Business Growth & Development

  • Collaborate with commercial teams and other business units to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions.
  • Drive expansion and brand recognition across North Europe.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a large, multi-site team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and long-term engagement.
