Job Description Trade Lane Manager – Germany - Europe About The Role DP World are currently recruiting for a experienced Trade Lane Manager. This role is responsible for developing one or multiple assigned Tradelane(s) within the Region’s Tradelane strategy by implementing company commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth on the assigned points to points environments. How You Will Contribute Manage trade lane Current and Prospect Book Of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in Volume throughout all products (Air & Ocean) Development of a trust-based, effective, and efficient cooperation with the trade-lane partners Liaise with Branch Operations on both sides of the trade lane to ensure proper solutions are developed around needs of the assigned trade lane(s) Knowledge transfer for the assigned trade lane; communication of strengths, weaknesses, USP\'s and products to the organization Steer local Field Sales Teams to grant constant support in selling the related trade lane(s) Assist local Field Sales Teams in their day by day selling activities joining sales calls and acting as trade lane subject matter expert in eyes of BCOs and Field Sales. Support local Field Sales Teams while interacting with Product in their negotiations to ensure proper solutions lead to constant opportunity closing. Liaise with DPW internal Network and external Partner Agents to guarantee the best possible service assistance to working opportunities. Take direct charge of selling activity by farming your personal BOB related to your trade lane(s) Market analyses and competitive monitoring with the aim of deriving profitable and sustainable measures. Identification of market and product trends; development and implementation of measures. Lead the execution of RFQ\'s. Perform minimum one Consignee Sales Trip (CST) per Quarter overseas and host the same in return from your counterparts. Daily work our CRM system to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme. Qualifications What you will bring Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education and experience. Experience 5 years minimum work experience in Freight Forwarding. 3 years Sales experience. Trade Lane Management is advantageous.
