The UK Product Development Manager plays a key role in driving growth across DP World UK Ports & Terminals by creating, developing, and implementing value-added products and services that enhance customer supply chains. The ideal candidate will bring excellent account management and relationship development skills, enabling them to create, develop, and implement value-added supply chain solutions. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that increase volume, revenue, and long-term customer value.
Location: Stanford le Hope, Essex with travel to Southampton every 2 weeks

How you will contribute:
- Identify customer value propositions within the addressable market and translate these into commercially viable products and services.
- Develop and present business cases for new products and services, including associated revenue streams and growth opportunities.
- Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of new products and services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and DP World capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to deliver products to agreed specifications.
- Project manage product development initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved.
- Manage marketing, publishing, and sales enablement activities to successfully launch and promote new offerings.
- Review and manage annual contracts, pricing structures, and tariffs across all products and services.
- Build and maintain strong, direct relationships with customers, cargo owners, and supply chain partners.
- Identify new markets, growth areas, and industry trends to expand DP World's role within customer supply chains.
- Grow the customer base and maximise uptake of existing and new products and services.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and communication to Product Delivery Teams across UK terminals.
- Ensure appropriate resource planning, including equipment and operational capability, to support delivery.
- Oversee accurate invoicing and financial tracking for all products and services.
- Manage project and operational budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Produce monthly P&L reports and performance insights for product lines.
- Drive solutions to operational challenges, continuously improving efficiency and customer outcomes.

- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, business, or commercial management (desirable).
Experience:
- Experience working within or closely aligned to the UK supply chain or logistics sector – Essential.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing new products, services, or commercial initiatives – Essential.
- Experience managing projects in complex, fast-paced environments – Essential.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders – Essential.
- Knowledge of container terminal operations or port logistics – Desirable.
