We are currently delivering a major Billing Transformation Programme at DP World, introducing a new enterprise billing platform to replace our existing system. Alongside this transformation, we must continue to support and maintain our current platform, ensuring continuity and accuracy while carefully managing complex and business-critical data, processes, and structures. This creates a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact programme, helping to protect and evolve our billing capability while transitioning to a modern, future-ready solution.

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Business Analyst to join DP World and play a key role in shaping and delivering the Billing Transformation Programme. This role sits at the centre of business and technology alignment, ensuring that billing requirements, processes, and system behaviours are clearly defined, understood, and successfully delivered.

You’ll work closely with the Billing Product Owner, Project Manager, Integration Lead, IT teams, and business stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, and Operations. The role is both analytical and collaborative, requiring you to translate complex billing rules and operational processes into structured requirements and documentation that support system design, testing, and implementation.

This position is ideal for a Business Analyst who thrives in transformation programmes, enjoys working across complex process, data, and system landscapes, and is comfortable bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery.

Location: Southampton

Contract: Permanent

How you will contribute:

  • Engage with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and IT stakeholders to gather, analyse, and define business and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Capture and document current-state billing knowledge, including billing rules, exceptions, and operational processes.
  • Analyse existing billing processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the design of future-state processes aligned to the Target Operating Model.
  • Translate business requirements into system requirements to support configuration, build, and integration.
  • Work closely with IT and Integration teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to define requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders on scope, requirements, and expected outcomes.
  • Support testing activities by defining test scenarios, validating expected outcomes, and ensuring requirements traceability.
  • Assist business users during UAT to confirm that solutions meet business needs.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation including requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements through to design, testing, and delivery.
  • Support knowledge transfer into the future UK Billing team, reducing reliance on specialist knowledge.
  • Contribute to governance by identifying and escalating gaps, risks, or conflicting requirements.

Day-to-day BAU support:

  • Validate billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to invoicing.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Analyse billing trends and support revenue assurance activities.
  • Review customer contracts and identify potential revenue leakage.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within system implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Strong experience working across both business and IT teams.
  • Excellent requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in process mapping and business process improvement.
  • Ability to document complex business rules, processes, and operational dependencies.
  • Experience in finance, billing, revenue assurance, or data-intensive systems is highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, reconciliations, and system outputs.
  • Strong analytical and structured approach with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and manage ambiguity or conflicting requirements.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to operate effectively in cross-functional environments.
