We have an exciting opportunity for a MP&L Order Controller to join our team in Minworth/Birmingham. The successful candidate will plan and monitor workflows, as well as material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a night shift role, working Monday to Friday from 11pm - 7am.
How you will contribute:
- Support for all operational departments with regards to packing queries
- Understand requirements and take decisive actions
- Ensure line down time is minimal
- Assist in follow up of Customer concerns
- Identify and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures
- Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
- Ensure all relevant information for each project is contained within the Syncreon order book and is accurate in order to ensure all shipments can be processed without delay
- Develop and maintain Standard Work and Quality processes to ensure a “Right First Time” product to the customer
- Ensure that all customers required quality processes are operated in line with specification, i.e. QCOS
- Drive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the use of quality processes to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
- Timely release of packing orders to the lines in accordance with manning hours and MCD date for the build plan on the project
- Liaising with RFU to ensure all materials due are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with the MRD date for the project
