Your Tasks
- You lead tenders as a bid-manager
- You develop competitive proposals mainly for Global Key Accounts
- You develop and maintain TM Team inhouse pricing knowledge with the usage of tools
- You facilitate the global TM process and act as bid manager in cooperating closely with all key stakeholders involved such as Bid Owner, Product, TM Teams, ISPs
- You ensure post bid analysis and/or after action reviews are being performed by the bid owners for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful tenders
- You ensure received tender feedback is shared with relevant functions in the organization
- You update lead tenders in our bid log
- You give guidance to the country and regional TM teams
- You should adhere to good business practice
- You are responsible for the creation of requests for quotation, reviewing pricing with bid owners and product managers
- You respond and assist on RFI / RFQ requests
- You ensure compliance with Tender Management processes and guidelines
- You ensure timely, accurate and quality responses are delivered towards the customer
- You work closely with other functional groups such as IT, Legal, Security, Product, Key Account
Your Profile
- You have completed your studies in the field of business administration, economics or logistics
- You already have several years of experience working in tender management or a similar field
- You have already gained a minimum of 2 years in managing a team
- You have a deep knowledge of the market (customers, air freight rates/services)
- You have strong communication skills
- You have functional & operational know-how on global forwarding
- You have a deep understanding of DP World (strategy and products)
- You have basic knowledge in finance & good business practice
- You have a good understanding and application of TM Tools and Processes
- You have excellent know-how of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
