About the role
DP World is hiring a Pricing Specialist to join our UK team in the European region. This critical role supports the Commercial Logistics division by managing accurate and profitable pricing models in response to RFQs from both prospective and current clients. As a key contributor to our commercial strategy, you\’ll collaborate across multiple functions—including Sales, Solution Engineering, and Operations—to build tailored, value-driven solutions. Reporting directly to the Senior Pricing Manager & Team Lead, the Pricing Specialist will help ensure the alignment of pricing with contractual and financial targets, while contributing to innovation in pricing tools and strategy.

How You Will Contribute
- Manage various cost and pricing elements of the quotation process to deliver comprehensive, timely responses to customer requests.
- Create clear and coherent pricing reports detailing financial impact, revenue expectations, and commercial implications for management.
- Lead pricing efforts on key opportunities and contract renewals.
- Support the development of innovative, user-friendly pricing models and tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Solution Engineering, Operations, and Corporate Services to design optimal pricing solutions.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on pricing models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Advise senior management on target pricing and margins by providing detailed feedback on cost structures, pricing options, and improvement opportunities.
- Document pricing assumptions and create client-facing pricing language, including terms and conditions.
- Evaluate pricing risks and recommend mitigation strategies while ensuring pricing aligns with DP World profitability guidelines.
- Review and align contract terms and conditions with pricing models and financial goals; support negotiation strategies with Sales.
- Ensure contracts comply with internal financial reporting metrics (e.g., EBIT, ROCE).
- Support post-win validation and implementation to ensure alignment with agreed pricing and Statement of Work.
- Represent DP World with professionalism, adhering to company values and promoting safety, integrity, and ethical conduct at all times.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in the 3PL industry within engineering, costing, or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain cost structures, and pricing practices.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to assess pricing impacts confidently.
- Effective communicator—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage with senior leadership and customers.
- Highly collaborative with a strong sense of accountability and organization.
- Flexible availability to support international projects (including late/early hours).
- Willingness to travel 30–50% globally to support site audits and implementation.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
