We are actively looking for a People Director to head up the operational HR function for the Northern UK region within our contract logistics pillar. This role will manage a number of senior HR Managers who are based at multiple contract logistics sites around the cluster.
You will lead and coordinate the site HR leads making sure that there is a consistent level of HR services, effective industrial relationship management and strong execution of workforce, talent and organisational initiatives. You will be reporting to the Senior Director of UK and Ireland and will be part of the HR leadership team within the UK.
You will be developing and helping to implement the regional HR strategy prioritising key regional HR goals and driving implementation across the multiple sites. You will provide support and development for the site HR teams and making sure that any ongoing issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
Change management and agility are key factors at DP World as we go through organisational change and you will be the lead for your cluster, driving through project management and creating plans to initiate successful change initiatives. You will drive cluster level workforce planning, understanding and interpreting data to manage headcount trends, historical attrition, persistent absenteeism and labour cost and productivity.
Key skill and experience include:
- Extensive HR Business Partner experience at a senior level ideally in Logistics or manufacturing
- Experience of running multi site or multi country HR operations
- Strong management experience and the ability to manage multiple remote teams
- Proven exposure to industrial relations and labour law
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects at the same time
- Open to travelling to locations in the UK
