Rapier Employment are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support our automotive logistics operation with DP World Logistics UK. Assessments and inductions are available now.

This role is primarily Monday to Thursday, however flexible and part-time working patterns are available. Additional shifts may also be offered with other established local clients for those seeking extra work.

About the Role

This is a Class 1 trunking role, collecting automotive parts from third-party suppliers and returning them to site, operating curtain-sider vehicles. The fleet is a modern mix of electric, gas, and diesel vehicles, with a long-term commitment to transitioning to a fully electric fleet.

We are recruiting drivers who will either:

  • Start at Cowley and transfer to Bicester when the site relocates in Summer 2026, or
  • Register now to begin work directly at the Bicester site in Summer 2026.
Shift & Pay Details

Shifts: Monday to Thursday (full-time, part-time, and flexible options available)

Pay rates:

  • £17.31 per hour (06:00-18:00)
  • £18.43 per hour (18:00-06:00)

Minimum: 8 hours guaranteed per shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Class 1 trunking between supplier sites and main hub
  • Completing pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records via onboard tablet
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Category C+E)
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digi Card
  • Must have held C+E entitlement for a minimum of 12 months
