DP World DP World, the fastâgrowing transportation and logistics leader that manages more than 10% of world trade, seeks a dedicated Ocean Freight Specialist to join our Freight Forwarding office in Prague, Czech Republic.Your Responsibilities Lead the full coordination of Ocean Freight operations, from import/export planning to customs clearance, ensuring shipments move smoothly across borders and modes (sea, rail, road).Communicate daily with ocean carriers, shipping lines, trucking companies and logistics partners, negotiating competitive rates and securing optimal space for clients\â cargo.Manage all operational documentationâfrom Bills of Lading to customs formsâkeeping files auditâready, accurate and compliant with international regulations.Stay on top of vessel schedules and delivery timelines, proactively updating clients and swiftly addressing delays or discrepancies.Prepare and issue detailed, competitive transport quotations, using market knowledge and pricing insight to optimize cost and value.Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, assisting with documentation needs, resolving concerns and delivering topâtier customer care with empathy and clarity.Handle special cargo with confidence, including hazardous or restricted goods, ensuring safety and compliance every step of the way.Use TMS and tracking systems to manage shipments in real time, maintain transparency and empower clients with upâtoâdate insights.Support continuous improvement efforts, identifying ways to streamline operations, cut costs and enhance service delivery through innovative thinking.Collaborate across departmentsâsales, finance, customs and warehousingâto make sure each shipment is supported from start to finish.Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, monitor profit margins and manage file closures in line with KPIs and company standards.Bring your voice to the tableâshare operational feedback, market trends and customer insights to help shape solutions that are smarter and more effective.Your Profile Completed secondary education.
