The Senior Manager – Business Development is a key driver of growth across our Freight division, focused on developing new customers, expanding into new geographies, and increasing our share of wallet with existing clients. This role is instrumental in supporting the Commercial North cluster and helping DP World strengthen its footprint across international freight.
This position is ideal for a seasoned freight professional with strong commercial instincts, a proven sales track record, and the charisma to build trust and deliver high-impact solutions.

Contract: Permanent
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans to win new opportunities and expand existing business.
- Generate effective leads and opportunities, ideally leveraging an existing network and book of business.
- Meet and exceed financial growth targets across DP World’s service portfolio and geographic footprint.
- Understand customer businesses strategically, operationally, and financially, including buying processes and key influences.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, quantifying opportunities and increasing win probability.
- Collaborate closely with Global and Regional Account Managers to share best practices.
- Lead RFQs for new business and renewals, engaging relevant internal functions and owning commercial and contract negotiations.
- Support internal projects and carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Significant international freight expertise.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting sales quotas at scale.
- 10+ years in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding, with a focus on international freight.
- Strong value-selling experience and existing book of business.
- Contract Logistics experience is a plus.
