DP World are currently recruiting for three Shift Administrator positions to join our transport operation in Bicester. These roles are key to supporting the smooth running of the operation through accurate administration, delivery bookings, and customer communication.
We are recruiting for the following shift patterns, which can be discussed further during the screening stage with the recruiter:
- Admin 1 – 02:00 – 12:00, Monday to Thursday
- Admin 2 – 12:00 – 22:00, Monday to Thursday
- Admin 3 – Monday to Friday, 8am start (8-hour shifts)
In this role, you will support the transport team by managing delivery bookings, processing delivery documentation, and ensuring customer systems are updated accurately and on time. You’ll play an important part in maintaining service levels and supporting the day-to-day operation.
About the role:
- Accurately book deliveries into customer portals in line with agreed processes and deadlines
- Update delivery information, including vehicle and driver details, once assigned by the transport team
- Monitor vehicle tracking and communicate any delays or changes to customers
- Prepare and organise driver paperwork packs
- Respond to booking amendments, rejections, and customer queries in a timely manner
- Process delivery paperwork, PODs, and related documents accurately
- Support timely payment processing by ensuring documentation is complete and uploaded correctly
- Work closely with drivers, planners, customers, and internal teams to resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails across all systems
- Provide general administrative support to the transport operation
- Support the Shift Manager and provide cover when required
Your Key Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Previous administration experience within transport, logistics, or operations (desirable)
- Experience working with customer booking portals or POD processing (desirable)
- Understanding of transport documentation and invoicing processes (desirable)
