We diffusion—an exciting role for a
Senior Cloud, Storage & Data Centre Engineer, and specialize in managing Data Centres, Cloud Environments, Enterprise SAN Storage, Hypervisors, Linux Servers, BCDR Testing, Data Protection and Data Recovery. The successful candidate will maintain stability, uptime, security and performance of critical IT systems while collaborating with the CSDC team интернет & other IT departments in achieving successful IT projects.

How You Will Contribute

Support DP World Cloud, Storage & Data Centre infrastructure under the Senior Manager\’s direction.

Manage the DPW EUR Data Centres, ensuring compliance with Group standards and audit readiness.

Assist in designing Data Centres to eliminate single points of failure and enable High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

Ensure maximum availability of Data Centre and Cloud systems with minimum disruption.

Deputise for the Senior Manager when required.

Install, configure and manage Linux servers using automation where possible.

Configure and manage Data Protection platforms such as Commvault, Dell EMC Networker and Zerto.

Collaborate with DBA, Network, Application, Systems and Service Desk teams on projects.

Conduct regular DR testing, verifying RPO and RTO.

Perform maintenance, support, installations,ಿಂಗய, performance monitoring, capacity planning and compute/storage management.

Recommend performance enhancements and evaluate new infrastructure technologies.

Maintain documentation, diagrams and internal knowledgebase updates.

Participate in out‐of‐hours on‐call rota as required.

Keep up‐to‐date with trends, developments and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional training and certifications.

Minimum of 10 years\’ experience in Cloud, Storage and Data Centre Engineering.

Experience

Deep experience in Data Centre and Cloud technology.

Able to lead IT projects, engage stakeholders, define tasks, set deadlines, highlight risks and hold regular meetings.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate technical concepts to non‐technical people.

Experience with VMware and Oracle Linux VMs.

Experience with VMware and SAN Storage Metro Clusters Amir

Knowledge of SAN Storage Systems, Fibre Channel Switches, SAN Zoning and IP‐based Storage.

Experience in Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, Microsoft Azure and other cloud tech.

Strong background with Data Protection software such as Commvault, Dell EMC Networker and Zerto.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Greylog.

Experience with Ansible, Kickstart, shell scripting and other open‐source Linux tools.

Experience with ITIL Change Management and Problem Management processes.

Demonstrated risk management and sound judgment for critical business systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Location & Hours
Remote work based in the UK or Dublin with European travel every two months วิเคราะห์ . Full‐time, 40 hoursесіне per week plus a paid on‐call rota (1 week in 5, 24/7).
