P&O Ferries is part of the DP World family and is a leading enabler of global trade. We have a rich heritage in ferry services and employ almost 2000 people. The Revenue Analyst – Short Routes will join the Pricing and Revenue Management team to help ensure that we maximise revenue by managing inventory (passenger & vehicle) and deploying optimal pricing strategies, set up and maintain pricing per sailing, and monitor and optimise deck and passenger space availability using advanced revenue management tools.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage the set up and maintenance of pricing per sailing in our sales systems in line with the revenue manager's strategy.
  • Proactively manage the deck and passenger space available for sale for each fare class by updating sales systems based on recommendations from the Revenue Management System.
  • Work with capacity management to ensure that deck sales are optimised across P&O business segments and the capacity on sale reflects any short-term peaks in demand.
  • Ensure revenue protection is adhered to by all departments and elevate any breaches.
  • Provide analytical support to the Revenue Manager and assist with the development of the Revenue Management and Pricing Tools.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Economics, Business Studies, Statistics or Mathematics, or previous experience in a pricing or analytics function.
  • Travel industry knowledge/experience.
  • Strong analytical, evaluative and problem‐solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Critical thinker who demonstrates drive and desire to improve processes.

Location: Ashford, operating Monday – Friday.
