We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Field Sales Executive in Budapest to support the growth of our Freight Forwarding business in Hungary. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing a strong sales pipeline, and building long-term relationships with customers across ocean, air, and road freight. You will act as a key link between customers and internal teams, ensuring tailored logistics solutions that align with both customer needs and the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding (ocean, air, and road).
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing customers through regular meetings and visits.
- Understand customer requirements and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service offerings.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements in close cooperation with pricing and operations teams.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and activity records in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within assigned verticals or geographies.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, operations, and branch teams to ensure smooth service implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings when required.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.
- Strong understanding of international logistics (air, ocean, and/or road freight).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Confident user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English is required.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or regionally.
