DP World are currently recruiting for a Credit & Receivables Assistant to join our fast-paced site in Bicester. In this role, you will support the effective administration of credit notes, manual invoices, and client queries, ensuring all activities are delivered in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client requirements.

You will be responsible for investigating and resolving customer returns, shortages, and claims, helping to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances while maintaining accurate financial records. Working closely with internal teams, you will also contribute to process improvements and help deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service in a dynamic operational environment.

About the role:

  • Produce and monitor Aged Debt reports
  • Chase outstanding Debt via email and phone, escalating overdue accounts as required to the Team Leader / Credit Manager
  • Post daily cash receipts to the AR
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure effective query management and payment of outstanding invoices
  • Investigate & resolve invoice queries efficiently – liaising with both internal and external teams to achieve resolution
  • Access external customer portals where required
  • Raise manual Invoices and Credit Notes in accordance with Client approval & internal processes
  • Raise Weekly Sales Invoices via uploads on a weekly basis in line with Client instructions
  • Create new accounts – in accordance with Client approval & internal processes
  • Maintain up to date & accurate records of correspondence
  • Maintain & upload Pricing in accordance with Client instructions

Your Key Skills:

  • Working towards Accountancy or equivalent credit and receivables qualifications (desirable).
  • Previous experience in Account Receivables or similar role
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Speed and accuracy essential in a fast-paced role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel in particular (pivot tables / look ups)
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic problem-solving qualities
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, up to senior management
