DP World are seeking a Trainer (Warehouse Operations and HSEQ) for our brand new multi user contract logistics site in Coventry. In this role you will execute trainings across operational warehouse processes, health and safety / MHE standards and ensure all training is documented and recorded effectively. Strong warehouse operations experience is essential along with some exposure to training/inducting staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides employee training related to operational and HSEQ based on company standards.
- Deliver training during the onboarding process for new employees regarding operations and HSEQ standards.
- Provides cover and support to the Supervising Manager in respect of all operational and HSEQ trainings or retraining’s during Launch phase.
- Liaises with all departments of the company and ensures smooth cooperation.
- Effectively deliver company standards regarding safe operation of MHE.
- Cooperates in the training and development of senior staff and management.
- Provides advice and service to management on training and education.
- Processes training documentation and management of training matrix.
- Collaborates in the training of employees as well as in the preparation of new employees for their work to ensure HSEQ standards are achieved.
- Support all Business as usual activities as required outside Launch activities.
Your Key Skills
- Excellent operational experience of 5 years + working in logistics conducting training activities.
- Expert knowledge and application of SOP's or SSOW.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic quality standards, HSE standards, 5S etc.
- Proven knowledge of HSE and Quality standards.
- Knowledge/understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Train the Trainer qualification preferred.
