Here at P&O Ferries we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team here in the United Kingdom on aPermanent basis.
This is an opportunity to work as part of the Sales team helping to ensure that we are identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing and nurturing client relationships for growth, driving revenue streams and executing strategies to expand the company’s reach and market share.
The successful candidate will have a proven record in prospecting and lead generation, Pitching and presenting to clients, Customer Relationship Management and client retention. The role is home based, with frequent travel to our offices, weekly client visits and weekly meetings with the internal Sales Team
Key responsibilities and duties:
To generate new business and associated sales growth by promoting and selling products/services.
Manage and negotiate with leading accounts within the designated area to achieve the best outcome for P&O across all routes.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Location –Home based this role operates Monday -Friday 08.30- 1700 hours.
