About Us: The European Tour group administers golf’s global Tour—the DP World Tour, the HotelPlanner Tour, the Legends Tour and the G4D Tour (golf for the disabled)—as well as golf’s greatest team contest, the Ryder Cup.
The Opportunity: We’re looking for a commercially minded and proactive Procurement Officer – Sourcing to join our Finance & Procurement team. This is a great opportunity to lead meaningful sourcing activity, create measurable value, and help embed responsible, sustainable procurement across our organisation.
The Role: In this role, you’ll work closely with operational teams across the DP World Tour, HotelPlanner Tour and Ryder Cup Europe. You’ll take ownership of competitive tendering, supplier performance, and commercial delivery, ensuring the business secures reliable, high-quality supply at the best possible value while reducing risk and improving sustainability outcomes. You’ll manage the full tender lifecycle, developing tender strategies, running transparent and compliant sourcing exercises, analysing bids and presenting recommendations. You’ll also play an active part in driving year‑on‑year cost savings, supporting accurate budgeting and forecasting, and acting as the key commercial link between Procurement and internal stakeholders. Strong relationship management will be essential. You’ll work with teams across operations, finance, sustainability and leadership to understand requirements, challenge assumptions where needed, and shape sourcing strategies that deliver long‑term benefits. Day to day, you’ll also manage supplier relationships from contract award through to performance delivery, leading performance reviews, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring all suppliers meet their contractual obligations. Sustainability and ESG considerations will run through your work. You’ll help integrate responsible sourcing principles into every tender, encourage suppliers to reduce environmental impact, champion sustainable materials and services, and support reporting on the organisation’s sustainability performance.
Success in this role will look like effective tenders delivered on time and within governance requirements; tangible cost savings and value improvements; stronger supplier performance with reduced risk; positive engagement from stakeholders; and measurable progress in responsible, sustainable sourcing.
What You Will Bring: We’re looking for someone who brings strong commercial and financial acumen, excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, and a structured, delivery‑focused approach. You should be confident working in a fast‑paced and high‑profile environment, comfortable with data and reporting, and credible when partnering with senior leaders. High attention to detail, strong governance discipline, and a genuine passion for sustainability and continuous improvement are all key.
Equal Opportunity: The European Tour group promote diversity, equality, and inclusion. We ensure that we make employment decisions by matching our business needs with skills and experience of candidates, regardless of anything.
