The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Staysure Legends Tour & HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup. We are seeking a proactive and innovative individual with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to join our team as a Partnership Sales Operations Intern for the summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the dynamic world of sports partnerships and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential brand partners, and key contacts within relevant businesses.
- Conduct global market research to uncover new business opportunities.
- Assist in planning for new business and renewal opportunities.
- Logistical preparation including mail merging, sending letters and packages, and dealing with couriers daily.
- Sourcing and liaising with suppliers, building relationships that ensure we are receiving the best service and prices.
- Strategy, analysis, and support on operational projects from concept through to completion.
Collaboration And Strategy Development
- Work with the partnership sales and insights team to identify growth areas and new partnership opportunities.
- Develop and implement innovative sales plans for properties within the European Tour group portfolio.
- Support various sales efforts to align with the overall sales strategy, both internationally and locally.
Research And Insights
- Utilise the European Tour group’s research and insights tools to provide relevant information to the Sales team.
- Collaborate with the Insights team to develop new partner categories, partnership narratives, and leads.
