Here at P&O Ferries we are seeking a Revenue Analyst – Short Routes to join our team here in Ashford on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to work as part of the Pricing and Revenue Management team helping to ensure that we maximise revenue by managing inventory (passenger & vehicle) and deploying optimal pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Manage the set up and maintenance of pricing per sailing in our Sales systems; in line with our pricing strategy set by the revenue manager.
  • Proactively manage the deck and passenger space available for sale for each fare class by updating sales systems based on recommendations from the Revenue Management System.
  • Work with capacity management to ensure that deck sales are optimised across P&O business segments, and the capacity on sale reflects any short-term peaks in demand.
  • Ensure Revenue protection is adhered to by all departments and elevate any breaches.
  • Providing analytical support to the Revenue Manager and assisting with the development of the Revenue Management and Pricing Tools.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in either Economics, Business Studies, Statistics or Mathematics; or previous experience in a pricing or analytics function.
  • Travel industry knowledge/experience.
  • Critical thinking skills and a drive to improve processes.
  • Strong analytical and evaluative skills.

Location – Ashford, this role operates Monday – Friday.
