DP World is looking for a QEHS Manager to join our new multiuser Contract Logistics site in Coventry (Segro Park). This role will be to establish and launch the new site and will have responsibility for all Health and Safety, Quality or Environmental related matters on site and rolling out any necessary training.
How you will contribute:
- Manage the Health & Safety systems.
- Deliver training.
- Coach / lead the site teams.
- Investigate accidents and analyse data to drive improvements.
- Report site KPIs / metrics to the corporate team and generate improvement action plans where gaps are identified.
- Manage the Environmental management system.
- Coach / lead the management team.
- Manage and analyse data from customers and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel.
- Interacts with staff within the location and within the Company and all customer and prospective customer representatives.
- Directly supervises Quality functions and staff across all shifts and provides consistent direction of the company’s quality plans.
- Administer all projects and documentation relative to assigned processes (operator instructions, PFMEA’s and process control plans).
- Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems.
- Use established problem-solving techniques to reduce process variation.
- Manage quality processes and reports.
- Champion Lean engineering goals.
- Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Quality System.
- Reports to Management on effectiveness of the Quality System.
- Generate, interpret, analyse, and communicate results using management tools, graphs, and reports; actively coach the organization concerning quality with tools and reports.
- Provide input on document enhancement and retention; Maintain ISO documentation and controls, administer activities required to maintain ISO certification, and actively coach the organisation for maintaining ISO system.
What you will bring:
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a Warehouse/Logistics or manufacturing environment as well as experience in developing and administering health and safety programs.
- Familiar with country specific health and safety standards including ISO and internal audit qualifications.
- Delivery of essential Health and Safety related training.
- Experience in new business launch logistics environments would be highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to engage and influence at all levels.
