DP Plumbing & Drainage Ltd is a growing and ambitious plumbing and drainage company delivering high-quality work across the commercial and residential sectors. Our projects range from plumbing maintenance and repairs in private homes to commercial fit-outs, drainage works, property renovations and larger-scale installations throughout the UK, with opportunities for European work from time to time.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Plumber to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working autonomously and wants to grow alongside an expanding business.
The Role
This is a full-time, site based role involving a varied workload across both commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Plumbing maintenance and repairs within residential properties
- Commercial and residential plumbing installations
- Commercial drainage installations and associated pipework
- Working on property renovation and refurbishment projects
- First and second fix plumbing works
- Reading, interpreting and working from technical and construction drawings
- Diagnosing and resolving on-site issues efficiently and proactively
- Managing and completing works independently to a consistently high standard
- Liaising professionally with clients, site managers and other trades
- Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, health and safety and housekeeping on site
- Travelling to projects throughout the UK, with occasional opportunities for European work
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification (minimum)
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in both plumbing and drainage works
- Ability to confidently read and work from technical and construction drawings
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience working within commercial and/or residential environments
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required
CSCS Requirement
A valid CSCS card is required. However, if you hold the relevant NVQ qualifications but do not currently have a CSCS card, we can support the successful candidate in obtaining one.
