Medical Assistant - Buckingham - Full-Time - Days/Evenings

Job Description:

PURPOSE OF JOB: A non-exempt clinical position responsible for performing a variety of duties in an outpatient setting. You will assist providers with patient care and manage clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The role serves as a liaison to patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, and other members of the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma; Medical Assistant diploma preferred.

Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical facility in a clinical role preferred.

Other Skills: Must possess current CPR certification and up-to-date health records with appropriate immunizations to work in healthcare.

Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).

Abilities: Ability to project a professional image, plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
