We are now recruiting Weekend Security Officers who are professional, reliable, and committed to delivering an exceptional level of service. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking part‑time weekend work, with the potential to progress into full‑time roles as the company continues to grow. Applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
The Role
- Shifts: Saturday and Sunday – 12‑hour shifts
- Hours: Guaranteed weekend work with overtime available
- Locations: Various corporate client sites across Barnsley
- Patrols of sites using our Electronic Patrol System
You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our clients’ buildings, assets, and personnel, ensuring all duties are completed to a high professional standard and in compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard client premises, assets, and staff
- Monitor CCTV and control site access/egress
- Conduct internal and external patrols
- Manage visitor and contractor access
- Complete all assigned tasks promptly and professionally
Full in‑house training is provided at all client sites.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (SG or DS)
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
- Right to work in the UK with a five‑year checkable history
- Professional, punctual, and reliable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must have a smart phone to use company apps
- Presentable, proactive, and resilient with a positive attitude
