We are seeking an experienced PPM Engineer to join the Engineering team at The Marylebone, a leading 5-star luxury hotel in Marylebone Village. In this key role, you will oversee all planned preventative maintenance across our systems, plant, and equipment, ensuring the smooth running of the property and a seamless guest experience. From electrical and mechanical upkeep to plumbing and compliance, you will play a central part in maintaining the safety, comfort, and standards of excellence our guests expect.

Working as part of a proactive team, you will complete maintenance tasks efficiently while responding quickly to unplanned issues with professionalism and precision. You will liaise closely with colleagues to minimize disruption and ensure every detail of our property reflects the quality for which The Doyle Collection hotels are renowned. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver a comprehensive PPM schedule covering AHU, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and AC systems
  • Perform regular checks of plant and equipment in line with statutory and brand requirements
  • Accurately record maintenance activities and ensure all relevant documentation is completed and stored appropriately
  • Support the Chief Engineer in tracking asset conditions, identifying areas for improvement or upgrade
  • Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure a timely response to faults and breakdowns
  • Use the maintenance management system (where applicable) to record tasks and monitor maintenance performance
  • Assist with contractor supervision during statutory inspections and servicing visits
  • To carry out regular stock checks and ensure that stocks are ordered when appropriate
  • Provide support for emergency call-outs and assist with fault finding where required
