The position on offer is for an individual with a proven, well-rounded, technical background and ability, working to the highest level of excellence to support the protection and development of the Doyle Collection hotel assets.
Reporting to and working with the Head of Risk, Assets and Facilities, this is an autonomous and dynamic role overseeing varied projects initially at the 3 London Hotels but then at all eight prestigious properties across our 3 jurisdictions of operation.
The role will include life-cycle and maintenance engineering projects, maintenance planning, preparation of scopes, RFQs, specifications, schedules of work and simple drawings, management of the tender process, appointment of consultants and contractors, project supervision including CDM, through to completion, budget control and settlement of final accounts.
In addition, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the hotel Maintenance Teams providing technical guidance and establish and monitor (Including Auditing) preventative maintenance programmes to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities to achieve industry best practice results.
This role would suit an Engineer with a strong background in Hotel or similar facilities and maintenance management who can demonstrate 10 years plus experience executing a similar function involving mechanical and electrical maintenance, CAPEX lifecycle and technology-based work packages, including scope writing, tender and bid processes that vary in value and scale, hard facilities management of buildings and in the Project Management of maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating services of such buildings.

Competencies and Experience:
Strong experience with FM Hard Services & Project Management
Educationally qualified at BTEC Diploma, HND or Degree level would be advantageous
Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services engineering
Mechanical and/or Electrical experience, 10 years minimum and good understanding of the fundamentals of various building services systems for data capture
Positive \βcan do, will do\β attitude who is self-motivated, forward-thinking and safety conscious
Familiar with Pumps, Plumbing, HVAC Systems, Boilers, Chilled water systems, Lifts, Fire & Life systems, electrical distribution and lighting etc
Understands Building Management Systems (BMS) architecture and the use of IoT systems
Is astute with Energy Saving measures and has knowledge of Net Zero road maps
Good understanding of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Systems and Root Cause Analysis
Experience within a Computerised Maintenance Management system environment.
